Benefit Stay don’t Stay Review

Have you ever applied concealer or eyeshadow in the morning and then a few hours later it looks a bit worse for wear? If you have there is a good chance you would like The Stay don’t stray dual-action primer which works 360 degrees around the eyes to make concelers and eyeshadows stay put.

The price of the product is £19.50 for 10ml. Although the price is expensive it does last a very long time and just a small amount will go along way. Remember that the product is for the eye area so as this is such a small area of the face you don’t need a lot of this product. So although the price does seem expensive at first it lasts a very long time so there is no need to keep buying lots of this.

Benefit products are known to be packaged in vibrant cases. They use all sorts of colours that catch the consumer’s eye such as bright pinks and peaches. However, this time benefit has toned down on its use of colours. It is still a really nice package. It comes in a lemon tube with a black pump. Its size is perfect because it’s not too big nor is it too small. It’s just right to fit in your handbag or make-up bag.

The stay don’t stray product isn’t just to a product to make sure eye make-up stays put. It also hydrates the area with sodium hyaluronate to lock in moisture and not only does it hydrates is fights signs of aging with Vitamins C & E, and is paraben-free. Clever ingredients huh?!

How to apply:
The product is best applied using your index finger. Dabbing it on the circles under your eye and on the eyelid.

If you have dark circles like myself you will be extremely pleased with the results of the product because it really works well with my boing conclear to disguise my dark circles. Instantly my skins look bigger and brighter when I apply this product. It makes you look wide awake even if in fact you have just woken up or desperate for sleep.

The primer did make my eye makeup stay and definitely not stray. My eye shadow didn’t crease like it normally does and my concealer didn’t ware off. I was really satisfied with the results.

However, although the product is wonderful and so on it does have a disadvantage and that is it comes in just one shade. Which is a fairly light shade so if you have dark skin this could be a problem however some people claim that using a lighter shade under the eye is better than using a dark one as it disguises dark circles and brightens the eye area more. I will leave it up to you to decide.

Overall, a great product that lasts a long time and makes eye make-up stay not stray!
