Percent Daily Value and Calories

The percent daily value (DV) as noted on the nutrition facts label found on Flintstones vitamins (as well as most food products) is a guide to the nutrients in one serving of the product. For example, if the label lists 25 percent for vitamin C, it means that one serving provides 25 percent of the vitamin C you need each day.

A Flintstones chewable multivitamin has a total of 10 calories. This provides 0.5 percent of the daily value for calories, assuming a standard diet is 2,000 calories per day. Carbohydrates account for all of these calories, and Flintstones chewable multivitamins contain no fat or protein.

Carbohydrates

A Flintstones chewable multivitamin contains a total of 3 g of carbohydrates. This total consists entirely of simple sugar with no starch or dietary fiber. This sugar gives Flintstones chewable multivitamins a sweet taste, which encourages children to take them.
