Clonazepam, commonly sold as Klonipin, is a benzodiazepine medication that also balances chemicals in the brain to reduce symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder. says this medication also treats people with panic disorders and epilepsy. Some of clonazepam’s less serious side effects include a runny or stuffy nose, drowsiness, memory problems, weight changes and a skin rash.
