Begin by filling your bathtub with water that is comfortably warm to you. Pour Epsom salt into the water and allow the salt to dissolve for a few minutes.  Soak your feet in this water for approximately ten minutes. Soaking your feet helps to loosen that top layer of dead skin. Now grab a salt based scrub and begin slathering it all over your feet. Concentrate most on the areas maintaining the greatest amount of callous build-up. Once you are finished with the salt scrub, allow your feet to rinse thoroughly in the bathtub. You can allow your feet to soak for a while longer if you would like.

Now that your feet are softened some you can rest assured that you have successfully removed the top layer of dead skin. Next you will need to grab a pumice stone. The pumice should remove the more stubborn layers of dead skin that the salt scrub might have left behind. Once you complete your pumice scrub, polish over your feet once again with the salt scrub. Think of this as the finishing touch to removing your winter layer of dead skin.

Rinse you feet once again in the bathtub and pat them dry with a towel.  Slather your feet in a rich cream such as cocoa butter. Cocoa butter lotions tend to lock in moisture and prevent future dryness. Get into the habit of applying cocoa butter to your feet on a daily basis to prevent the accumulation of dry, dead skin. Finish off your baby soft feet with a coating of your favorite toe nail polish if you would like.
